Successful 2 days Training program on Digital Signature Certificate at Police Head Quarter, Naxal Tuesday and Wednesday.
Nepal Certifying Company organized An Interaction Program on Digital Signature & Creating PKI Enabled Application on 5th May 2017 at Trade Tower Thapathali, Kathmandu. An Interaction program was focused on the possible ways to promote the usage of Digital Signature in Nepal. Mr. Purushottam Ghimire, MD of Nepal Certifying Company welcomed the Guests, Chief Guest & all participated to the Interaction Program and highlights the objectives and importance on it.
Member, National Planning Commission, Dr. Sunil Babu Shrestha said, “Automation of our systems/procedures and delivery channels is our top priority and deployment of Digital Signature will reduce the threats of any organizations or customers might face while using digital delivery channels. I am sure that implementing DSC will help us to move forward more securely. It will be used and highlights are coming policy and budget speech of the government.
Ganesh Shah, Former Minister, MOEST said, he is hoping that DSC not only helps them to secure their data but also helps to save their time, increase their productivity and mostly reinforce “Brand Image” in terms of advanced technologies and fight against fraud to improve customer service. Ultimately, it saves time, money and environment through reduce to use if large paper work.
The Interaction program was more centered on making and handling “Electronic Governance” (eGov) secure and credible without any repudiation. The program showcased the benefits that DSC brings for any company which is much higher for accomplishing their daily transaction as well as making secure payment system via online.
Mr. Biplav man Singh, Chairman of NCC presented about digital signature. He concentrated his talk on implementation and benefits of DSC. Mr. Pawan Saini, Expert from eMudhra India gave a technical briefing about how Digital Signature can be used in different application as well as encryption.
Nepal Certifying Company has been managing the Digital Signature and Certificate (DSC) issued by Radiant Info Tech Nepal Pvt. Ltd the Issuing Certifying Authority (CA) in Nepal. It has been working towards implementing Digital Signature and Certificate (DSC) all over the country and replacing paper based activities.
Likewise, Chairman of Issuing Certifying Authority Radiant Info Tech Nepal Mr. Bhaskar Bhandari gave vote of thanks.
On 7th March 2017, a Signing Ceremony was held in Beema Samiti premises to discuss on the possible ways to promote the usage of Digital Signature Certificate in Nepal. Nepal Certifying Company Pvt. Ltd held its fourth (4th) Annual General Meeting under the Chairmanship of Mr. Biplav Man Singh, Chairman of Nepal Certifying Company Pvt. Ltd, on Thursday, 12th January 2017 at Trade Tower, Thapathali, Kathmandu. The Managing Director of Nepal Certifying Company Pvt. Ltd Mr. Purushottam Ghimire, Executive Director Mr. Deepak Bhandari, Directors, Chairman of Issuing Certifying Authority (Radiant Info tech Nepal Pvt. Ltd. ) Mr. Bhaskar Bhandari, Shareholders and Employees of NCC also participated in the meeting. The meeting agreed on raising its Authorized Capital Rs. 10,00,00,000 (Ten Crores) and Issued Capital 4 Crores to 8 Crores and Paid up 4 to 6 Crores. The AGM also endorsed the New Director Mr. Ram Bahadur Pandey.
On 10th August 2016, a conference was held in Computer Bazaar to discuss on the possible ways to promote the usage of Digital Signature Certificate in Nepal. Not only this, a penned signature for Digital Signature Certificate was also performed between ICT Association of Nepal and Nepal Certifying Company.

NIC ASIA Bank to acquire Digital Signature from Nepal Certifying Company
Nepal Certifying Company (NCC) finalized a deal with NIC ASIA Bank to deliver them with Digital Signature Certificates (DSC). This puts NIC ASIA in the growing list of financial institutions implementing DSC in their day-to-day activities.
Standard Chartered procures Digital Signature from Nepal Certifying Company Pvt. Ltd.Nepal Certifying Company (NCC) penned a deal to deliver Digital Signature and Certificate (DSC) to Standard Chartered Bank Limited making it’s the first commercial Bank in Nepal to use the Digital Signature and Certificate (DSC) for conducting their online transactions.
Sanima Bank Limited penned a deal to use Digital Signature and Certificate (DSC) with Nepal Certifying Company in order to administer online document system. The agreement was signed by Mr. Biplav Man Singh Chairman of Nepal Certifying Company and Mr. Bhuvan Dahal, Chief Executive Officer of Sanima Bank Limited.

Awareness program about Digital Signature Certificate at Dolakha. Nepal Government organized an interaction session to provide awareness about Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) at Dolakha. The message of securing Nepal “DIGITALLY” was conveyed through the meet focusing on how DSC is used in government bodies and business parties.
A digital signature is a mathematical method or technique used to verify the integrity and authenticity of software, digital document message or e-mail.
The digital equivalent of stamped seal or handwriting signature but providing far better security to solve the problem of impersonation and tempering in communication. A digital signature can provide added assurance of events to origin, status of an electronic document, identity, message or transaction as well as notice consent by the signer.
